French wine for China: my coach approach

Yes, we did it! The French Wine Domaine Lou Colombier (Montouliers – Languedoc) has been choosen by a Chinese group to be present in their more than 300 VIP clubs in the South of China. 

The first steps to be able to export in this Asian country :

1-Offer very high quality poducts
2-Very good design - prestige image is needed
3-Special labels with good refrences or premiums
4-Be very fast reactive in your response to their needs, or any specific question about product range, countryside, technical charateristics
5-provide and be able to provide all the requird certificates: food and safety, certificate of origin, all commercial documents in English.


This very small and family owned company is open-minded and this opportunity can be a good process growth but always measuring the impact of the export sales on production capacity and process.


The follow up is also a priority to keep the business and get the first order. So, continuity and professionalism to demonstrate your experience on international level will also be very impotant! That's also the step where I have to act as personal coach for this small unit company and help them in their first experience.
